Welcome to the Great Northern Rotax Series.

Great Northern Racing Series (GNRS) is a competitive and fun focused kart racing series based on the Rotax Kart Racing Program. We welcome all drivers to join and race on some of America's best purpose built sprint kart road racing tracks. GNRS fields all five (5) Rotax Classes so there are racing opportunities appropriate to all experience levels including racers new to our fast growing sport.

GNRS is a non-profit series that exists to promote the sport of kart racing and is supported through volunteer efforts of its members, our karting club partners and the Rotax Kart Racing Program.

What is the Rotax Kart Racing Program?

The Rotax Kart Racing Program is a rapidly developing international racing series affiliated with the Champ Car World Series. Rotax Kart Challenge Racing with GNRS qualifies our top scoring drivers for the 2008 Rotax Grand National on September 9-13, 2008 at USA International Raceway (USAIR) in Shawano, Wisconsin.
